The House and the Hawk

I wake up inside my dream. I am in a wooden shack. Like a home you may see along the side of some highway. I look around briefly but I don't remember who I am or how I got here so I get nervous and leave. I head off to my left through a field of yellow grass. A small hawk comes and lands on my arm. I am pleased to see him. He seems familiar.

Next thing I know I am back inside the house. I am trying to put the hawk into a special box. I succeed in placing him inside and I turn around but I then hear some noise and turn around. The box is flying toward me. I realize that its no use keeping the hawk inside the box.

Then I decide to look around the house. I open all the curtains and both doors. Now that there is light I can see the other rooms clearly. My friend Scott is asleep in one of the beds. Then I see three flashing scenes - in order - Scott and I talking, then fighting, and then sitting crosslegged observing each other.
