Most Common Dream Scenes
Most common recurrant dream scenes/settings.
Note: I have never seen any of these places in waking life.
Dream scene 1: a dirt and rock trail that winds uphill and bends West around a semi-round forested area. The rest of the surrounding area is grassy plains. Somewhere round the last bend is my destination.
Dream Scene 2: A path that leads in a perfect circle around a large raised hill. The hill is covered in trees, as is all the surrounding area outside of the path.
Dream Scene 3: There is a dirt road. I must follow it past an intersection with another dirt road. Past that is a chicken farm. That is the last landmark before my destination.
Dream Scene 4: There are thick bushes on either side of a metal gate. There are usually abandoned cars with their lights still on parked in front of this gate. The gate leads to where I am going.
The funny thing I realized after documenting all of these is that after I arrive here (no matter where "here" is) I can't remember what happens next. A few other things strike my as interesting. Whenever I arrive at one of these four places in a dream I recognize it and know that I've been there before. Sometimes I know I am dreaming at this point.
Also, while I don't remember what happens past the chicken farm (3) or through the gate (4) I do have dreams where I coming back down the road or back through the gate. I never remember what has happened on the other side.
