Just a fun outing with grandma

I go to visit grandma at her house, I think. I tell her all kinds of historical facts I've learned recently which she finds fascinating. She is very excited to talk to me. We pass a spot on Nieman near 67th, I think, where a grocery store used to be. I remember a conversation I had with my mother when I was young about this store closing and how it was a discount store, I remember being worried as a boy that we wouldn't be able to buy food anymore and asking about it. Grandma and I pull into an auto-repair shop where my cousin Matthew is working. There is some talk about Leslie organizing a trip to the rennaissance festival. Grandma and I have plans to go out to lunch...

The Oil Fence, Family, and Grandma

From birds eye view I see a great canyon with large towers being built on top. They are celebrating the completion of a wall along the canyon. Strangely, as I get closer, the wall carries oil along the top of the large, concrete towers, like an aqueduct.

Somehow I end up along the bottom. I am in a room which is small and has barbwire fences dividing parts of the inside. On one side of room is a small window blocked by one of those fences. It’s the only way out. Leslie is there, for some reason, and I see that one of the fences has been broken down. We climb through it and pass out the window.

I immediately see the rest of my family (who apparently came into the building and through the same window immediately after)). We are all on a steep hill. I almost fall/roll down. Then we all hurry along the crest of the hill, looking for help, until we come to a large swamp-like area. The trees are thick and the water is bubbling like a hot tub. Grandma is there relaxing in the tub with a flower bathing suit on. I laugh and jump in next to here even though I know it will get my socks wet. I walk/swim over to her and kiss her and tell her how much I love her, then we all start moving again…
