My Odd Car, Stranded in Colorado

I am taking a trip across the country. Somewhere in Colorado I choose to discard my car in favor of - I must describe this - it is made of metal piping in roughly a square shape, with four wheels, a brake and accelerator pedal. I love my new ride. Primitive, yes, but functional, and I feel connected to the ground beneath me. Unfortunately, I take it down a steep drop and it fail to work when I reach the bottom. I make my way, somehow, to a bar in Colorado. It is filled with people in buckskin caps - like a frontier bar of some sort. Everything is made of dark wood. Nobody knows me but everyone knows each other. I try to contact my family but the phone dies before I can explain that I am stranded. Later, I get a hold of my father who swears he will come to get me but, despite my strange claims that he "knows I'm stranded," swears that he and my mother had no idea that I had ended up here.

The dream ends by trying to retrace my steps to where my odd car fell into the ditch.

Mother and Sister

My mother and sister are outside my door. They are asking me for something. They need something from me. I pretend to be asleep but really don't want to answer them.
